FAQ

Q: How many pairs of shoes can one bottle of Cleaner & Conditioner clean?

A: One 8 oz bottle cleans roughly 80–100 pairs of shoes when used properly (a small dime-size amount per cleaning). The 32 oz Big Shoe bottle cleans up to 200 pairs — ideal for households with multiple sneakerheads or anyone wanting a year's supply on hand.

Q: What's the difference between Cleaner & Conditioner and Water & Stain Repellent?

A: They do different jobs at different stages. Cleaner & Conditioner removes dirt, stains, and grime while moisturizing the material. Water & Stain Repellent creates an invisible nano-tech barrier that prevents water and stains from soaking in. Most people use both — clean first, then protect.

Q: How often should I reapply the Water & Stain Repellent?

A: Reapply every 4–6 weeks for everyday wear, or more often during rainy/snowy seasons. You should also reapply any time you've cleaned the shoes (cleaning naturally removes some of the protective barrier).

Q: Is Shoe MGK safe for kids' shoes?

A: Yes — completely. Our formulas contain no bleaches, dyes, alcohol, animal products, or harsh chemicals. The Cleaner & Conditioner is derived from coconut and jojoba oils, so it's safe to use on children's footwear, school sneakers, and anything that gets handled often.

Q: What colors does Touch-Up Paint come in?

A: Touch-Up Paint is available in white and black. Both are acrylic-based and formulated to cover scuffs, blemishes, and yellowed soles or stitching. The flexible coating won't crack or peel even with heavy wear, and it works on white leather, vinyl, rubber, and canvas.

Q: I have leather dress shoes — should I use the regular Cleaner or the Leather Cream?

A: Use both, at different stages. The Cleaner & Conditioner handles the everyday cleaning. The Shoe MGK Leather Cream is a self-shining wax (with lanolin and beeswax) that conditions, restores, and adds water/salt protection — especially valuable in Canadian winters where road salt destroys leather. The Leather Care Kit bundles both together.
